Mahalo,

I’m listening to Pillowtalk by ZAYN Malik as I write this edition of The Writer Gal Letter because the song is ALL the rage on Tiktok, Postmate.

This is an unmissable TWGL, Postmate so read on for ALL the news!

First off, I am on a true crime podcast-ish spiral. It MIGHT have something to do with finishing the SCORE proofs in one fucking day at the beginning of June (that’s nearly 400 pages of words) and really living the true crime investigative murder life :D

So, I ended up watching Only Murders in The Building seasons 1 and 2 - TWICE. Because the score by Siddharth Khosla is definitely DEFINITELY playlist material. Plus, watching Steve Martin and Martin Short bumbling about trying to podcast while trying to solve a building murder is hilarious and deeply thought-provoking.

Then I chanced upon this quirky crazy little gem called Based on A True Story. If I tell you the premise of BOATS you’ll freak out. But I will say this - anything that has Chris Messina is an auto watch for me. And this one did not disappoint in the least, including the podcast aspect. I mean, that first episode was INCREDIBLE!

This brings me to the third thing I’m watching this week - The Resort. Which deals with an unsolved murder fifteen years ago that a married couple use to liven up their marriage.

All of this murder and true crime-ness had me wondering what my podcast show name be.

And, Postmate, without any embarrassment I have to say my Podcast name would be - 3 Am Ramblings of Unhinged Writer Gal.

No shit, the last four days, I have actually walked around my home at three am muttering to myself till I wore myself out with my own thunking thoughts. Because May was such a hot month and I was on a vacation of sorts, June was a hellishly busy month in terms of all the writing work except writing words.

That is being rectified as we speak, Postmate. But, other EXCITING things are underfoot at the Aarti V Raman-verse!

Crave and Covet’s covers are slowly taking shape - both the hot guy version as well as the more lovely illustrated version! Oh my god, you haven’t seen the lovely illustrated version of the Ruthless Billionaires’ covers have you?!

Check ‘em out!

Along with the biggest of ALL news!!

PAPERBACKS ARE LIVE!

I am slowly and steadily uploading the paperbacks to Amazon, Postmate! It is a total of 24 full-length romances, not to mention the novellas and box sets (which I’m afraid I’ll have to take a call on, depending on page count lengths). My eyes and Merril and Deb’s eyes are bleeding over page bleeds, spine text, and more. But, Postmate, you get to own all the books in Paperback!

Right now, I can only do the paperbacks on Amazon, so you’ll have to get it through that platform. I will try and get more storefronts later on in the future. :) And I’m mulling a signed bookstore deal but that’s for after I finish writing Crave and have a tiny breather space for thinking of such a project.

As of writing this email, Renegade, Chaos, Claim (the whole book), and Burn are all LIVE on Amazon!

Paperbacks are live!

Get the books in print

The Geeks and Foes are in review - I hope to hear the live news on them by tonight! And, by, this time, next week - I hope to have EVERY SINGLE one of my main books in print. :)

India Folks: The books are slowly coming live on the Notion Press Store since there is a scene with Amazon India that I am not able to resolve. The prices remain affordable by India printing standards so you can get them from the Notion Press storefront. And it is FREE SHIPPING all over India! :)

India Store for Paperbacks

This is a huge undertaking on our team’s part. And I am so grateful everyday that you, Postmate, and my team have always had my back. Even on the low days - I’ve had a whole insane week of low days - I know I owe you my optimism and these stories.

Writing Updates

Crave is on. I might even have a release date for you by the next TWGL! Definitely by next to next week. I’m super excited to take all of my true crime podcast knowledge and make Crave pop and simmer with murder and sex and angst and unrequited, epic live!

I don’t really have an excerpt for you right now, Postmate, but do read TEMPT on Kindle Unlimited by clicking on the shiny pink button! So you’re all nice and caught up on Nashit and Pehel’s truly angsty romance before Crave drops… (And for good measure get the Claim and Burn/Blaze print versions too because yeah! They are the prettiest and you can read them forever).

That is all I have for this edition of TWGL! I’ll be back next Tuesday for more updates (hopefully Geeks and Foes’ Mercs and the standalones will all be live on the storefront by then!) Wish me luck, Postmate, and don’t forget to tell me the name of your podcast show! I promise I won’t use it in a book without paying you a shit ton of royalty money :P (when I have it.)

Till then, podcast and dream on!

Xx
