Hello Reader,
I’m Mili Iyer and I’m taking over The Writer Gal Letter for today because she could not keep her eyes open one second longer. Her heart is too full and her hands are too tired from all the emotions a brand-new release day always brings with it.
So, you get me. And I’ll tell you why in just a hot moment!
I’ve gone through older editions of The Writer Gal Letter (I hate short forms, so no TWGL) and apparently we always begin with the song of the day. The only song I have recently listened to is Queen of Disaster by LULLANA - it’s the song that I…(well, you have to read our book to know why the song is special to me!)
The main reason why I’m writing this Letter is, obviously, to tell you that Blaze, the second book detailing my life and my husband’s, is out. It’s released. It’s there in the world. It’s in Kindle Unlimited so you can read it for FREE, right away. Click on the handy link and it will take you to the page so you can get the book on your device straight away.
Also, your love for mine and that bastard Nihaal’s story has led to Blaze already topping Amazon India at #43 in the whole store. Thank you. Truly. I’ll take full credit for this amazing thing and leave all the reviews to the bastard. (You know why, don’t you, dear reader?)
Anyway, I’ve been through a traumatic event and survived to tell the tale. But my problems are far from over as I presume, drifting in hazy and pleasant dreams. They’re, in fact, just beginning. The blurb, it shows the rest.
To save the world, they raced to marry, now they Blaze together...
Nihaal's F1 season is not going well. At all! He has to score big with the investors who hold his dream hostage. He has to win all the remaining races if he wants to win the championship. Most of all, he wants to live without the bane of his existence - smart and feisty fixer Mili.
His new wife - who hates his very guts. And possibly wishes him dead.
Mili just came back from the dead a changed woman. All the grudges and secrets that were so important aren't important anymore. The one thing that hasn't changed?
Mili's hate for her brand-new charismatic husband. Or her infernal want for his race-roughened hands and the way this former playboy fits so well against her.
Never is too soon a time to see him... But, after their secret arranged marriage becomes public knowledge and the paparazzi descend on Mili and Bhatnagar Farm, this future Formula One champion has only one choice.
To protect Mili. To keep her safe. And to keep his desirous hands to himself while sharing his life with the woman whose smoky eyes, razor brain, and mile-long legs drive him insane.
The brooding billionaire is afraid he might have finally met his match with the prickly and independent Mili.
Because the last thing she wants is to be safe. Especially as she courts deadly danger head-on.
Nihaal knows the time has come to lay it all on the finish line - his skill, his passion, and his heart... All are set to Blaze.
Blaze is the heat-filled and thrilling conclusion to Nihaal and Mili's explosive marriage of convenience, enemies to lovers romance that began in Burn. It needs to be read after Burn (Ruthless Billionaires).
I know, Writer Gal could have written a more enticing blurb but I’ll let it go this time. She had to, after all, wrangle the bastard and me into being civil to each other. And, you know what?
Once Nihaal actually got over his issues (no, he didn’t) we actually did start to get along. (Snickers because I am the epitome of calm, aren’t I? NOT!)
And then, of course, those pesky feelings start cropping up - the ones that made me agree to the insanity of marrying a complete stranger in the first place. Not to mention how hot the man actually is and how different the world of F1 is from the one I’m used to. I forget for whole seconds why I wanted him so badly, then I look at him jockeying in his cockpit and remember…
So, what happens to Nihaal and me? You have to read Blaze to find out. Plus, the napping Writer Gal has three surprises up her sleeve that you won’t expect at all. I mean, I was in the story and I did not see them coming!
Either way, you’re in for a pulse-pounding time.
Now, for the main reason, Writer Gal had to take a nap instead of celebrating this amazing release day with you. She is tired from fixing an error that happened during formatting and needed me to come fix The Writer Gal Letter!
My former boss and secret softie Drake Fallahil always told me it is best to be upfront when stating your errors. And, more important, how they’re already fixed (I can see the irony) before presenting it to the other party.
So, I’m here to tell you. The problem, it’s been fixed.
And the problem is this, an incorrectly formatted file was missing the last climax chapter of the book and was already uploaded to Amazon! (I KNOW. I had a talk with Aarti. Tears were shed. Apologies rendered loudly. I was not moved. (read chapters 11 and 12 to know why)). And, since I’m the fixer extraordinaire, I came up with a few solves.
Have the reader who downloaded the book at midnight AU, India, and EST just go to their device and check if auto-updates are on. If they are, the correctly formatted book will show up. If they don’t, go on to solve 2.
Click on the link below to go and download the last scene of the book and read it separately but seamlessly. I implore you, read the whole book first and then read this. But I get it with all my free market brain. Free stuff makes the world go round. So get this now if it is what you really want!
Email back to this Letter and ask Writer Gal if she needs help in formatting books or stronger glasses or…coffee.
Writer Gal, Nihaal, and I, apologize profusely for this oversight that should never have happened. And will ensure it NEVER happens again. Like. Ever! Like. EVER! But, Writer Gal sure does hope you won’t hold this extremely human moment against her and not love Blaze and me and, fine, Nihaal too (if you must!)
Note: ARC readers, please wait till Writer Gal has regained coherence and then check your inboxes for the book! It will come soon. I have also warned her of the consequences of not sending ARCs before the damn book releases, here onward. But I cut her slack this time because with the grandpa and the back pain and Nihaal being a pain (he’s a sweet pain), I get why she couldn’t. Fine, I was no less. I’m stubborn and intractable and too smart for my own good! :P
Note more: ARC Readers for Dissent’s The Story of Us will also be contacted shortly for further moves.
Anyway, this is it for the fixer portion of the Letter.
Now, for the fun stuff!
Writer Gal’s Writer Pals Present
Today, Three Dissent authors (it comes out NEXT WEEK, Dear Reader) are here to share stuff about their books. One’s a hot new KU release, one’s a freebie, and one is a sweet pre-order for a book Writer Gal is psyched to read.
Aidy Award’s Wolf on Campus series concludes with the last book! But, all four books are super short, super fun reads with all the best things that make Shifter romances so special. Fated mates, insta love, hot men purring for the right woman, and curvy girls rep. What’s not to love, am I right?
Next up is Patricia Eddy writing PNR and doing all the best things with it! And you get 30 OTHER stories in Rituals & Runes, when you pre-order it! That cover gives me all kinds of hot witch autumn vibes and Writer Gal can’t stop staring at it.
Last but not least, is Amanda Richardson’s freebie Say You Hate Me. I am pretty sure I, Mili, have a ton of things in common with the lovely Natalia who is also in a hate-ship with a man she wants beyond sense. Sounds familiar, right? I will be reading this book to get some pointers on how to make Nihaal pay (you can bet the bank Nihaal will pay for all that he’s said to me).
Anyway, there you have it. That is all for this edition of The Writer Gal Letter, dear reader. Writer Gal will, hopefully, resume writing to you next week when Dissent releases and there is some more awesome news and the next part of something called No Other Love?!
Take care and stay smart,
M
(signing for Writer Gal Aarti)
