A Writer Gal Listicle Letter
With all the release news!!!
I’m writing this edition of The Writer Gal Letter listening to Golden by Harry Styles. Cuz, Postmate, I FEEL Golden! I know it’s been almost a month since I last wrote to you and I hope you missed me some if not lots :P I know I did.
But, I had to stay away from all the distractions in the world and get my health in shape so I could whip the book in shape. That being said, let’s get the list out, shall we? (I’ll send another letter in a few days to expand on some of the things I share in this edition of TWGL so stress not, Postmate).
I’m officially done with Blaze. I just wrote The End on it an hour ago. So now it is DONE! It’s thicker than Burn at almost 80000 words! Don’t hold it against me, Postmate. This story has twists and turns I did not see coming the way it did! But, yay! The book’s done.
Well, since the book’s done I now have a release date! August 31, 2022. Blaze releases into the world and out of my head. I so hope you love Nihaal and Mili the way I do. Because Nihaal is my new bad boy turned cinnamon roll hero!
I also turned in my Dissent submission - Jordan and Barry’s extra happy ever after - so all, in all, this month I wrote all the freaking words, Postmate! Also, this submission has a title and a beautiful cover to go with it. Check it out, here, along with the excerpt.
“Barry, love,” he spoke gently. He tucked a lock of hair behind her ear, his fingertip grazing the shell as it often did. A quick, intimate, comforting gesture they’d long since perfected.
It shamed Barry that heat, instant and acute, filled her insides at his touch. She didn’t want to be aroused right now. She didn’t want to be anything.
Barry swallowed. “Hold me,” she whispered, her eyes huge with unsaid emotions. “Just hold me, okay?”
Jordan tossed his phone on the counter. It bounced to the floor.
Barry made a sound of distress but he just pulled her gently, inexorably toward him.
Enfolding her in his large frame, dressed in his customary loose pajama bottoms and worn tee-shirt. His arms were rock solid around Barry, banding her to him. His breath was calm, even, there as he cupped the back of her head so she could lean properly against him.
Tears that had flooded the back of Barry’s throat, hot and insistent, were battled away in the gentle but incredible pressure of Jordan’s hug.
My Storytel Original has ALSO released, Postmate. And it is sweet and funny and all kinds of swoony. So, if Audiobooks are your thing, please do give it a listen! Here’s the link to check it out and here’s the cute cover and blurb to entice you.
One night... Three dates... What could go wrong?
Prachi is a curvy introvert teacher. But she is best friends with extroverted programmer Prinita. To help her best friend out, Pra agrees to be set up on MatchUp, the hottest new dating app - with a difference.
All the app needs its one night. Three dates. With a total stranger. You either make a magical connection or move on.
Unfortunately for Prachi, the app matches her with her archenemy, Abhi. Sexy, charming and... Her best friend's older brother.
Abhi got roped into the date night from hell because he loves his sister, not because he has feelings for grumpy Prachi. But, as the night goes on and the dates become daring, can a moonlit night in Mumbai lead to happy ever after for this unlikely couple?
I am exhausted from writing all the words so I am going to keep this one supremely short! I swear I will write soon, maybe after I upload the book and talk a little more, okay, lots more. Let’s face it. This is me. I am chatty. And I honestly have so MUCH to tell you, I can’t wait to get into it all.
stay safe and awesome.
